Brief IAAP History
Founded in the United States in 1942 as the National Secretaries Association with nine independent chapters and expanded into Canada in 1954. With the addition of affiliates and members throughout the world, the association’s name was changed to Professional Secretaries International in 1981, and to the International Association of Administrative Professionals in 1998.

Osceola Chapter History
Founded in 2005 by a dedicated group of committed professionals from Osceola County looking to improve and enhance not only their own administrative careers but providing an avenue for all other professionals within our County who desire to be a positive influence in our community.
